New music supervision work with Reformation is a summer crowd pleaser, featuring Paradise’s 1981 “Sizzlin’ Hot, ” an obscure disco recording from Bermuda that reached me via Daphni’s 2019 rework of the source track. Props to the reissue label Frederiksberg Records for elevating this short-lived island band and Local Rep for helping broker the use.
