Chapter 2 of Johannes Leonardo’s Connections campaign for Instagram is out now. The scope of this effort was no small feat. As the music supervisors, we support the agency across many deliverables, including a 3-minute edit titled “The Crew Takes Prom,” which follows high school friends on a memorable night of ups and downs after their prom is canceled. We tapped Found Objects and artist-composer Ian Sweet (Jilian Medford) for original music, licensed songs by Faye Webster, Connor Price & Armani White, Juliet Ivy, and others to create an authentic portrayal of teen life and how they use the app to play, have fun, and make connections.
